From the rat race...to the hospital...to my family...to simplicity: This is the story of life. fulfilled.

In 2009, I thought I was living "the dream"... I had a great career, I was on the move, my family was flourishing. I was literally stopped in my tracks in July of 2009 after I contracted H1N1. Yes, I was one of “those” cases, the ones you hear about on the news. Eight days between ICU and the cardiac floor makes for a serious time of life reflection. Was I living the life I wanted?

 After having multiple conversations about my children and what I wanted for them, I decided to hit them where it hurt. I decided, as a family, we needed to start eating healthier, so I started making “healthier” cookies for us to enjoy. I took one of the recipes that I received from my grandmother and modified it to a six grain cookie. Surprisingly, they liked it!

 life. fulfilled. was “born” as a company in January of 2010. I began the process of refining the recipe further and I connected with creative and talented people to develop labels and packaging. The first manufacturing run was completed in June of 2010.

 I spent the rest of summer and fall attending Farmers Markets, Expos, Health Fairs, and basically tried to be in front of anyone who wanted to hear about my products. The Gluten Free line was developed during this time.

In January of 2011, life. fulfilled. was invited to showcase the products at the Sundance Film Festival. The Utah Independent Film Makers hosted a venue and it was there we filled many with our tasty treats. life. fulfilled. also launched the life. snax. line of trail mixes at this event.

 The rest of 2011 was spent criss-crossing the state networking with many and sharing our products.  During this time, the orginial six grain cookie line went into hiatus.

Through this entire journey, I have defined what life fulfilled is for myself and the company;

In 2012 we made a radical change. Our products were not often associated with food or with the mission that was intended. We took a stand and rebranded our products to "Oh My...Snacks!". I have heard what you have said about the products and what they mean to you. "Oh my!" is what I hear most often. My mission is connecting great products to great people. It is about bringing goodness and simplicity to others. It is having others witness what having a fulfilled life is about.

Thank you for being a part of this and being a part of the life.fulfilled. family.
